We are so happy to announce that our ordering pages are up and running! We are starting very slowly but hope to expand our menu as the weeks go by. If you do not see your favorite bagel flavor, fear not, we will be bringing back all flavors eventually. For more information on how to order visit our Menu page for online ordering and our subscriptions plans page for bagel subscriptions.
I wanted to use this platform to speak in a little more detail about what we are doing to keep our staff and customers safe. We have reviewed all of the recommendations laid out in the Safe Start Plan and will be following all recommendations. Please follow the link for a full understanding of all the precaution we will be taking.
We believe that the best way to keep our customers safe is to keep our staff safe. For this reason we will not be taking walk in orders. By moving to an online ordering platform we are able to cut down on contact between staff and customers. We will be offering delivery through June 30th at least and have worked with the city to reserve parking spots in front of the store for curbside pickup. Additionally, we have kept our menu small so that we can limit the amount of staff we have working at any one time. On a normal day, we would have up to 20 people working at one time. Our goal for the foreseeable future is to never have more than 5 people working at a time. We will be setting up work stations that are at least 6 feet apart and will restructure how we do things to be able to maintain social distancing. All Employees will have access to masks, glove, hand sanitizer, and plenty of hand washing stations(as usual). As employees return we will be educating them on how the virus spreads and what we can do to stop it. Additionally, we will be conducting symptom screenings each day and sending home anyone who we feel may be at risk. All staff will have access to their accrued sick leave and we will be working with staff who have run out of sick leave to ensure that they are taken care of finically if they they take time off because they aren't feeling well or have come into contact with someone with covid 19. Finally, We are also looking into restructuring our in-store ordering experience so that when we do reopen the dinning area it will be with social distancing and other safety measures in mind, stay tuned for more updates on that in the future.
Thanks so much for reading, we are so excited to be baking bagels again !
